Juniperus virginiana

A thin pale yellow to brownish liquid.

A med note with a strong aroma, This oil has a mild sweet balsamic and very woody scent, slightly reminiscent of sandalwood. It is somewhat softer than that of Cedarwood Himalayan.

Cedarwood has a very spiritual, light, transcended note and many people upon first smelling this oil think they are sampling a sophisticated blend of oils. Cedarwood has been used for fungal growths, muscular aches and pains, rheumatism, skin afflictions and removing warts as well as cosmetics, perfumes, and scenting soaps and lotions. Aromatherapy properties include warming, uplifting, and toning. Considered an aphrodisiac as it is grounding and inspiring at the same time. Place a tissue with a few drops on it in your closet as well as your empty cedarwood bottles to help keep moths away.

Cedarwood (Virginian) Blends well with: Benzoin, Bergamot, Clary Sage, Cypress, Frankincense, Jasmine, Juniper, Neroli, Patchouli, Rose, Sandalwood & Vetiver
