(Origanum Vulgare L) Oregano oil is considered to be "nature's cure all" due to a high carvacol and thymol content. It is reputed to have anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antifungal, antibacterial and anti-parasitic properties. Oregano Oil can be used to treat cuts and wounds, itches, skin infections, and can be also effective against swelling and pain caused by rheumatism. Oregano Oil can be useful in blends to treat the symptoms associated with colds, flu, bronchitis and other respiratory problems.
 
Organic Oregano oil has a powerful, spicy, camphor-like aroma.
 
It blends well with: Bergamot, Cedarwood, Chamomile, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Rosemary and Tea Tree. It can also be used as a fragrance component in colognes, soaps and perfumes, especially men's fragrances.
 
Caution: Oregano Essential Oil is both a dermal irritant and a mucous membrane irritant. Should be used in dilution or mixed with a carrier oil as can can burn the skin if not diluted.
 
Avoid use if pregnant.
