Since 1993, the City of Gainesville, or Mule

Camp Springs as it was once known, has

hosted this rich Appalachian festival at the

foothills of the North Georgia Mountains.

Adults enjoy various mountain arts and crafts,

live music, and great food, while children enjoy

mule rides, a petting zoo, giant trampoline,

inflatables, face painting, and more. The

Gainesville Jaycees use the festival’s proceeds

to purchase Christmas gifts for underprivileged

children in Gainesville and Hall

County and for other charitable activities. Gainesville welcomed the world in

1996 as a host of the Centennial Olympic Games. Lake Lanier was the site of

the Kayak and Rowing events, and our area became known as the

“Hospitality Capital of the World”. Once again, the community and the

Gainesville Jaycees wish to show you our hospitality by inviting you to the

2017 Mule Camp Market Festival on Gainesville’s Downtown Square.
